'17 330i xDrive Touring (F31) Weather Mat

Hi all! I've had my F31 M Sport in the states for two weeks after a long wait for arrival from my European delivery over the summer.

With our seasonal PNW rain starting soon I picked a set of all weather mats from BMW this week and love the style fit and finish for all except the rear cargo.

I love the mat and it's ability to collect crumbs, small debris, water and snow however it has about 1-1.5 inch gap on one side to the quarter panel wall-passenger side.

Is the mat incorrect for my F31 or is that expected fit?

Dropped off in Paris-CDG for shipping to my home in Oregon.

You may have an incorrect mat on the passenger side. I have a 2014 F31 with BMW rubber floor mats similar to the ones you described. Both the driver's and passenger's side mats fit exactly to the foot wells. I do not have anything near a 1 to 1.5 inch gap anywhere.
ps If you are looking for a cargo mat I believe the only good choice is Weather Tech.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the mats for the passenger/driver/rear passenger floor fit like a glove. No gaps at all.

However the cargo mat, as pictured has about 1.5 gap on the passenger side of the car.

I'll bring it to the dealer and be sure I have the correct mat for my '17

+1 on the weathertechs. I've had them since the beginning in my MY2014 F31 and there is no gap whatsoever.

I purchased cargo mat P/N 51472302925 for my 2014 F31. I have the same gap (see attached pictures).

Thanks for sharing that image. The cut is interesting as it seems to have no logical behind it.

I did return to the dealer and showed them. We fitted another mat they had in stock and same fit. I kept what I have but seems we have a defect or sorts.

Well, at least we both know we got the "right" wrong part.

Our similar mat (but beige vs. red trim) in our F30 sedan has more of a right angle in those back corners = great fit.
