Exclamation BMW Rebate on Service 8/21/17 - 10/31/17

Hey Guys,
I just picked up my ride from Crevier after some service that was done on it and the Cashier handed me a Rebate claims form to fill out to either get $25 visa gift card for spending $50 or more or $50 gift card for spending $200 or more. Yeah its not alot but its something. This is only for service performed from 8/21/17 to 10/31/17 and you have until 11/15/17 to file the claim. You can mail it in to the address below or you can go the easy route and fill out the form online at bmwrebateoffers.com. I had another service done in September so filled out and submitted 2 different claims. Good luck!

Rebate for what? I haven't paid for BMW service in years, it's all covered. Is this for out of warranty repairs/maintenance?

I would never get tires at a dealership. They are almost always 20% more expensive.

I priced out my tires and they were almost the same price. It would make more sense for me to switch to a different tire.

A local dealer had a special for 4 tires + touchless mount + roadforce balance with BMW weighted spec + 4-wheel alignment for $840, that beat/matched price from tirerack + local indies for mount + balance + alignment.

Just submitted my claim, looking forward to getting my $50, a significant amount off what I paid! Thanks for the info! Glad I kept all my receipts! Now my tire was definitely cheaper than tire rack. The other front tire was replaced for free due to bubble caused by a pothole and was covered by tire insurance.

Just got a dealer oil change for $95 with tax, or $70 after rebate.

DIY at least costs $62 for 4 liters of BMW LL01FE 0w30 and filter, so additional $8 for dealer service is a spectacular deal!

So is this a bmw gift card you can use only with future service or can the visa gift card be used to buy anything? It seems like on the site it is only good for future service at bmw.

The rebate T&C clearly states Visa Prepaid Card.

Cool yeah it says you can use it anywhere visa debit is accepted. I also noticed there was a summer accessories rebate, I think I could have gotten that too since I brought M License plate frames, air freshener, key fob holder and all season floor mats around that time, will need to keep an eye out in the future if I get the MPPSK for some sort of rebate. I'm assuming getbmwparts.com would be considered an authorized retailer so any rebate would apply to anything purchased from there.

The summer accessories rebates were not that great, 20% on limited items(first number is rebate amount, second is MSRP). There was also a summer battery rebate for $25, but dealer usually charges $400 for a new battery ....

Yes kudos to OP to broadcast these rebates.

So they decided to do a rebate on stuff they couldn't get rid of versus stuff that actually sells.

And tires, intermediate oil change if chosen, brakes, clutches. These are stuff not covered by 3-yr/36k-mile free maintenance.

Yes those items are not that useful. Instead service rebates are useful.

brakes and and I think clutches are covered on the older 4 year 50K maintenance for 2016 and earlier. Also get wiper blades every year and cabin and engine air filters. Just got my brakes done recently for free

Yes 4-yr/50k-mile covers wiper, brakes, clutches. Cabin and engine air filters should be covered in 3-yr/36k-mile too.

I thought everything was covered to 50k I never heard of there being a shorter period for air filters. I know tires are not covered as well as alignment which is why they ask if I want that done when I get tires. Or you mean on the 3/36 free maintenance on newer cars it also covers filters?
