Yes, it only work if you have the new navigation system (NBT) that's available on the '14 and '15 models.

It doesn't work on the older CIC based system that was in the '12 and '13 cars.

I just posted a new coding meet thread for November 22nd in Tustin.

For those that missed on our last meet, you're welcome to attend this next one. Please post on the new thread if you want to attend.

It will probably be the last meet of the year for me.

Would love to get this done, I just got my f30 last week!

Would this affect my warranty in any way?

Not that anyone has reported. Coding is mostly enabling features that are already built into the car, but disabled here for legal or regulatory reason. In the US, BMW would have to prove that coding was the direct cause of the problem to deny a warranty claim.

I guess anything is possible, but I've never heard of a warranty issue related to coding.

If you are really worried about it, you can code your car back to factory settings before you take it into the dealer.

Smile F36 coding?

Can you code an F36? Looking for:

* DVD in Motion
* Fold Mirrors in on Lock
* Enable Enhanced BT & Smartphone Integration

Question about the Enhanced BT...BMW charges $500, but this includes a second mic. Is this already in the vehicle just not turned on?

Thanks...AJ

Definitely yes on the first two.

If you have the 609 navigation, then we should be able to enable EBT.

If you don't have 609, then you have to have the separate CommBox to enable EBT. If you have it, it will be in the back of the trunk under the cover in the forward left hand corner. It's a silver finned box about 7" x 12" with wires attached to it. If you have it, we can code EBT.
