Just ordered MY2018 340 XDrive

Hi Guys,

Been lurking a lot on the forum for more than a year and finally pulled the trigger and ordered a 340 just how i want it!

Sweet you guys get 4 year maintenance still, we get 3 year, does not include brakes and wiper blades. Is this M-Sport? Looks like you have MPPSK even though it seems to say you're getting MPE and MPPK which wouldn't make sense. Here we get alarm system, moonroof, LED and HK standard but enhanced premium package has a few more extras.

Someone can correct me if i'm wrong but in Canada you need to take the M package 1 to have the same options that come standard in the US. Could be wrong!!

Wonder how hard it would be to buy one here and drive across the border... Would need to code HUD to display in KM. Depends on whether or not it's actually a better deal based on pricing.

In Canada, we never had the brakes & wiper blades in our 4 year standard maintenance plan. We need to purchase the extended maintenance package to get that.

M Performance Package II is equivalent to MPPSK.

No, in the US, I'm pretty sure you don't get M Sport Brakes, VSS, Adaptive M Suspension, 19" wheels as standard which is what's in the M Performance Package I.

That's a great build. It looks like this is the last time for the 340 with the manual transmission, you picked the right time. (G30 - edit G20 - supposed to be auto-only).

Best of luck with the car. It's going to be a beauty.

I put my order in for a similar car back in December. Still no build number allocated. It seems like there is a pretty long delay at bmw right now on the 3s.

Well it sucks for you, perhaps your dealer dont't have much allocation... I've put an order or February 7th ish and i already have received earlier this week estimated date of April 8. Vehicle fabrication has started more than a week ago

3/30 updates!!!

Have finally found someone to take over my lease. My car is suppose to arrive at the dealer on April 6...

This is going to be a very, very, very long week until delivery the week after....

Hi Guys,
I have a question about special ordering. I'm planning on ordering either a 430i GC or a 440i GC because I can't find the color combinations with all the bells and whistles I want. I heard that some dealers are never able to get the color combos someone orders - is this true? I'm also thinking about the European delivery program. I know it takes 1-3 months to get your car to the U.S. once it's ordered, but I am curious as to what percent of the purchase price do you have to put down before you get the car. I plan on putting a big chunk down and then making payments. When do payments start? Before I get the car? Just curious.

That sparkling clean interior reminds me how badly I need to clean my interior from all the winter grime/salt and stains from my jeans. Can't wait to get that done tomorrow.
