BMW F31 3-series Touring Pics Reveal New Liquid Blue Color
BIMMERPOST NEWS BMW F31 3-series Touring Pics Reveal New Liquid Blue Color The F31 3-series touring/wagon has been spotted in testing again, this time in a new color - liquid blue. Liquid blue recently showed up as new BMW color for the 2012 3-series E92 coupe and 2012 1-series F20 hatchback and this is the first ever look at the new light blue paint color. No official word yet on whether the F31 touring/wagon will be available in North America, but in a recent interview with Automotive News, the now retired BMWNA CEO Jim O'Donnell says he wishes the company hadn't stopped selling the F11 5 series wagon in the United States last year because the company thought a lot its 5-series station wagon customers would go with the GT. The report went on to say that the next gen F31 3-series wagon will still be available in NA. O'Donnell said: "We are not giving up the 3-series wagon because if you give it up, they will go straight to the competition." Unfortunately, O'Donnell recently retired, so it's unknown if this prediction still holds. Follow our full F30/F31/F32 coverage @ http://www.bimmerpost.com/3-series/f30/ Photos via secretcarnews |

For some reason I feel that's going to be a very popular color. I have a hunch.

EDIT: Just checked the paint formulations for Liquid Blue and Bluewater and they are very very similar

They love driving around that field. Seems like the paparazzi can just camp out and wait for BMW to come to them.

That is so true. Why is it so difficult to explain to the uninitiated the sublime pleasure of driving a BMW?

Is it just me or does the windsheild/front roof line look really tall? Kind of goofy looking, I hope this is just because of the camo.

If BMW brings the 3 series wagon to NA, it may very likely be my next car. If they brought a 3 or 5 Touring with diesel, it would definately be my next car. If BMW doesn't, and Audi brings the A6 diesel wagon to NA, then my next car definately will NOT be a BMW. |
