window shades?

Has anyone found good options for window shades for the rear doors? Besides tint as Maryland only allows for 35%.

thanks

I have not seen any. BMW sells them for some models, but not the F34. Perhaps that's because of the frame-less glass. I have 35% tint, and it's fine. Besides, I don't have celebrities in the back seat hiding from paparazzi.

I am concerned about the baby in the backseat and while 35% is good, still can get a burn on infant skin if in the car and sun for too long.

So looking for recommendations on aftermarket window shades people have had success with in the 3-GT since there is not an OEM solution.

What would be cool is if there was a thing like transitions tinting that can be adjusted or adjusts automatically.

If that's your concern it's not the % that matters, it's the UV absorption. This talks about 3M films specifically, but other brands can do the same:

There do seem to be shades available for the F34 on the UK website:

As mentioned above the UV protection between the different shades is fairly close. Jst cause the shades are darker or lighter affects the amount of light coming in but the protection is relatively close.
