You were right, i just forgot to activate the FA beforehand Here's what i get when i _am_ able to click on "Detect CAF for SWE". I tried it a few times, but this error below comes up every time. The fact that it can't find the CAF for this latest revision of the REM - does that mean my PSdZData doesn't contain the latest CAFD file versions that are compatible with this REM?

I replaced my original REM with an older REM that had the right pins for PDC, but it seemed like it was a little _too_ old and ran into some issues. I then order a newer REM, but the dealership sent me an even newer one saying it the one i ordered is not available any more, and this one is the newest/latest.

Appreciate any insight here

Yes, it seems so. I would just flash it with new firmware.

I googled around to see if this code is wide-spread yet, but it doesn't appear to be. Its pretty cool... your seat slides back automatically when you turn off your engine and open the door, allowing you easier exit without bumping into the steering wheel. And when you get in and turn on the engine, the seat automatically slides up, putting it into driving position. And if your steering wheel has a power tilt/lift, you can throw that into the mix as well.

Here's a video of someone demonstrating it (just the seat movement part of it)...

I got an issue when I tried to code my F30 2013 328 for mirror auto folding feature. There is no ASP_AUSKLAPPEN_NACH_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN under 3110 PfExternalMirrorMaster in FEM_BODY module. I also couldn't change the status of ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN to aktiv because it was not in the dropdown edit box. I did it two years ago and it worked fine until the recent service in July. It seems that they changed something in PfExternalMirrorMaster when they reprogram my car ;-( Did any one experience the same issue?

There is an issue with latest cafd_00000794.caf.014_040_122 file.

See if you can inject cafd_00000794.caf.014_040_121 and use it instead.

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Left-Click on FEM_BODY => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select cafd_00000794.caf.014_040_121 => Select OK => Right-Click on FEM_BODY (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE.

Then try FDL Coding it.

Its a Germany National Version but im portuguese. it goes to the BMW dealer and they upgrade the software were in Portugal. Since them i have lost all items on the connecteddrive menu. Only have Hotline(with a german phone number) , mobile care and service point.

Can anyone help me how to get BMW LIVE, BMW ONLINE and Internet again?

Judging by the fact that your FEM_BODY has cafd_00000794.caf.004_228_010, it's too old.

E-Sys Launcher CAFD Mapping is based on each ECU's highest CAFD version from the last Untrimmed version of PSdZData, which was 54.1. Since your FEM_BODY CAFD is much older, and the CAFD has undergone significant changes since your version, the Mapping is not correct for such an old CAFD.

Cars with anything less <= to 54.1 on them should use regular E-Sys with 54.1 PSdZData, and not use E-Sys Launcher at all.

Tried it. "Detect CAF for SWE" found three items -- two are 014_040_122 and one is 014_040_121. Selected 121 and did FEM_BODY code which took one or two minutes to finish. But the resulting cafd_00000794_014_040_121 got the same issue when I tried to edit it :-(

So it seems then the firmware has actually changed. Hopefully new firmware will revert back to how it used to work. That or CAFD Structure changed, and current E-Sys Launcher Mapping is incorrect.

This sucks, I just started coding and don't know how many other things they have changed

Can I switch back to 122 using the same steps? Is there any difference between two 122 showed by Detect CAF for SWE?

Another maybe unrelated question: After reprogram by the recent service of my car, its engine auto on/off still can not remember the last user setting. Is it true that F30 firmware should be able to do it by default now?

You can switch back to 122 using same process, although I have no idea what the differences are.

I do not know what the default coding is for ASS function these days.
