Another 328i On Order
Ordered it today at Fields. Go see Robert K. there if you want impeccable service and patience...lol. He made me sign a promissory letter that I wouldn't change this configuration again. I agreed, at least until the M options become available!
Alpine White Sport Steptronic Dakota Grey/Aluminum/Black Gloss Premium Tech Premium Stereo Apps Heated Fronts (wife loves these) Advanced BT Rear View Camera (spousal requirement) Park Distance Control (required with backup cam) I deleted the sport steering and Xenons to add the last 2 and keep it under $48k. June 26th production slot, hoping for August arrival so I can get my $500 from BMWCCA. Last edited by shabadoo25; 05-01-2012 at 01:51 PM.. Reason: omission |

Ignore my stupidness. When I read it I thought you were serious.
Congrats on the order. Mine is sitting at port in Bremerhaven. I have a feeling it will be there a while. |

My 328i is has now arrived at the dealer
Been on order since early February after handing my E90 back to the lease company in March, so very happy i'll finally be able to get my hands on it in a few days. It's UK spec, and i've been informed by the dealer today it is the highest spec in the country that he knows about - maybe I did go a bit overboard on the options list As they don't do the 328i Sport line here in the UK, I had chose the basic SE line and built the options list how I wanted. Only downside, I am stuck with the black strip on the interior trim, but as gone for Black leather seats, and Anthracite headlining with brushed Aluminium trim it should fine in the flesh. |

Apart from those above, yes pretty much everything was ticked. Could have gone for bigger wheels, but as I drive on the odd poor road surface I didn't want to risk ruining the ride. I spent many hours and 55K miles driving in my E90 320d and was really glad I had also gone mad on the options list there, it made 3+ hour journeys just that little more bearable. I was particularly impressed with the Professional SatNav which I found flawless on all occasions and the live traffic updates saved me many hours of jams. Only downside was the lack of traffic reports on a couple of major roads, but not the fault of BMW, just no traffic cameras/sensors there to collect the data. The hard bit to swallow is that these extras will add little to the value of the car when I come to sell and trade up in another 3-4 years I'm collecting it from the dealer in a couple of days and would be happy to answer questions about the options and my thoughts on them after putting some miles on the clock. |
