Exhaust flap 328

Has anyone modified the exhaust flap covering one of the ports to stay open all the time?, any change in sound?.

Yes, also knows as the golf tee mod. Not much difference in sound but it results in annoying drone on the highway, at least for me.

+1
the BMS offer a flap module that give you the ability to change it at anytime from inside the car.
Jb4 has the same feature as well.

Ah yes for the low low price of 279.00 you can do something that one can also do for free with 30 seconds of work

Sorry Mike, you know I'm a fan of yours lol, I just think its blasphemous that BMS would offer something so simple at such ridiculous price.

No offense taken buddy.
Don't forget BMS offers this feature for free with their JB4.
The idea from the module is not only open/close the valves, you can read / delete codes and lots of other features being worked on as well.

I suppose the code readout adds some value. I just wish it was more in the 150 range.

That would give it a competitive price to CG precision's wireless remote controlled solution which I think is only a little more than a hundred bucks

Just unplug the actuator when the valve is in an open position. I wrapped mine in a little cling film, masked it off then cable tied it to the exhaust bracket. No drone or anything. But this is on a valved Milltek cat back, not stock.
