Question Does your F30 jerk forward and backward when coming to a full stop?

My 335i has a tendency to rock forward and backward when coming to a full stop. The car rocks slightly, yet noticeably, towards the front and back before it stops completely. This happens during normal braking (I don't push the brakes hard).

Not sure if this is necessarily a problem with the car, or maybe just me getting used to the driving experience (it's my first BMW)?

Anyone else experiencing this? Greatly appreciate your feedback!

Only time I've experienced this was a week before the transmission blew on my old Ford. I'd take it in for servicing immediately.

I only get that when putting the car in P, even then it's hardly noticeable.

Are you in a manual? Is this a regular stop, like at a traffic light? Maybe you should press on the brakes a bit harder

When I'm in automatic and coming to a full stop at a traffic light. That's when the car jerks slightly forward and backward. Actually, you described it best: it's that slight back-and-forth rocking motion the vehicle makes when you put it in P. That's what I'm experiencing, nothing more abrupt than that kind of movement.

Definitely sounds like some misalignment in transmission then. I would take it in.
