Blue tooth audio streaming

Can someone tell me what you need in order to have blue tooth audio streaming? I have a vehicle incoming with enhanced package and includes Bluetooth obviously. However, to play music off your phone do you need apple car play?

If the vehicle you have on your profile is what you're picking up, you can have Enhanced Bluetooth enabled through coding only.

No. It will be a 2018 430i grand coupe with enhanced package.

You simply just search for a bluetooth device from your phone and pair it with the car

the blutooth in my 2013 335 is for phone only and i bought a separate blutooth unit for audio from my phone.

No, we also have a 66 plate F15 that doesn't have CarPlay but will just connect to bluetooth for audio streaming.

I hope I have understood your question correctly...No. It should pair via BT. You don't need car play if you have an iPhone. It works a bit better but it isn't necessary.
