Hi!

I have a F31 with the new navigation proffesional and have 2 problems:

1) Cannot get Bluetooth audio to work with my iPhone 5. I have paired the phone with iDrive, but in the media section my phone is not listed.

2) USB audio was working, but when browsing songs, the iDrive crashes and rebooted. Now it says the device is not supported.

have you checked to see which software version you have for BMW connected drive (combox)?

If you are not running MX3.54 and TX3.5.5 you need the update. Use a good quality USB thumb drive formatted FAT and load using USB port in center console (not glove box).

Yes, even new cars come with outdated software believe it or not.

If that doesn't help, I suspect the bug is in the new Nav Pro system.

*EDIT* - Seems the new Nav Pro may not have a separate combox. If you are unable to install an update using the above link, make sure your phone is updated to latest OS6. If that doesn't help, notify dealer.

I have the newest software version and iOS 6.0.1. Will call my dealer tomorrow.

I have the same problem and found out the un-pairing the iPhone and pairing it again wile it was connected via USB resolve the problem. I think is because a conflict between the audio going via USB or BT.
