JB4 Mobile App Connection Issue.

Does anyone have experience this issue lately? It used to connect right away at the first try everyday.
I have tried app re-installation, phone restarted, clear Bluetooth devices, obd cable unplugged, rev3 connection checked and it shows as Bluetooth device in the phone

Android base phone.

F30_SixSpeed had a fault BT kit, i think he was having the same issue

MMM, does his was working before or it was faulty from the beginning? Cuz my was just fine last week

yea my BT module was faulty and crapped out. Once I replaced it I never had any problems again. Contact BMS and they should warranty it for you... granted thats the problem.

Can I open the jb4 box and unplug the db9 BT connection without disconnecting the battery.
Thats the only connection could have problem as the other is the power tpost and that seem to work fine because I can see it under phone bt devices.

I would disconnect the battery anytime you are tinkering or messing with the jb4.

Do we have any DIY on how to create the usb to serial cable? I have some db9 connectors and usb cable I can use for. Or Is there a diference on a regular usb to serial from bestbuy, like this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia...?skuId=5883029

Need to test that db9 connection on the jb4. I send the BT kit to manufactures to be tested.
