Thanks for your quick response!

What do you think if I get
Front 225/35/19
Rear 255/30/19

tires instead? slightly camber adjustment will fix that?

How close are you to rubbing? I'm going 19x10 on the rear and im on the fence about tires. I really want to run 285/30 in the back. Do you have any wiggle room back there?

I was hoping to use my forgestar F-14s from my E92 M-Sport.

19x8.5 et32 235/35
19x10 et38 275/30

Will this set up work on my F30 M-Sport?

Looks like you have your car and wheels already. Run out and do a test fit for us! That would help me SO much. But my guess is with that offset, the 275 might be a little wide. I'm only basing my assumption on what others of posted.

I have 19x10 Forgestar ordered hopefully in the +42-45 et range.

Car looks amazing, F10 reps are probably my favorite on the F30 so far. Also interested in seeing what size tires/offsets will work with a 10-inch rear.

This is what I've worked out... should work...
http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp?...2=New F30 Rear

Relative to 18" M-Sport wheels, this setup will be
14mm/1.4cm more aggressive
4mm/0.4cm smaller gap

1in = 2.54cm

That calculator is awesome. I'm going to call Forgestar this afternoon and see what my offsets are. Are you sure that's the correct offset on the stock 18x8.5"?

I think youve sold me on the 265!

The only thing is that people are saying it's impossible to fit a 10, regardless of tire. Although we have seen a few cars with 10s - there is even one running 20x10 (though I'm sure he rubs since he has zero gap).

I got the stock info from this thread:

18" Double Spoke Style 400M (M Sport wheels) - 18x8" ET34 225/45-18 front / 18x8.5" ET47 255/40-18 rear

My only explanation as to why it will work is because the stock rims are 8.5 wide, but have an incredibly deep (from the car) offset because the concavity is shallow. It allows us to bring in the offset a lot while increasing the width of the wheel without moving the part that would hit the suspension.

Sweet, I'm feeling good about this. I just spoke with Forgestar and my wheels are 19x9 +35 front and 19x10 +45 rear.

My front setup will be 255/35/19. 0.6" closer to suspension and 0.6" more towards the fender. Should be plenty of room to occomodate 0.6" on both sides (I hope).

http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp?...&text1=&text2=

My only issue now is the rear tires. If I go 265/35 in the rear, I'll be 0.1" closer to suspension and only 0.3" more towards the fender - no problem to fit.

http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp?...&text1=&text2=

But if I go 285/30, I'll be 0.5" closer to suspension and 0.7" closer to fender - could be cutting it close.

http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp?...&text1=&text2=

Seems like either would work. Also to factor in for me is that if I go 265/35 rear, I'm going with Michilin Super Sports. If I get 285/30, I'm going with Continental ExtremeContact DW.

Sorry, this is apparently my wheel diary.

For the fronts, you may want to shoot for a slightly lower offset or move to a 245. I wonder what the performance difference is between a 245 and a 255 on a 19" rim. I suspect the stretch of the sidewall has the potential to cause issues when cornering. FWIW, your front choice is essentially the same as mine. Link!

For the rears, 285 seems a bit too much. Try with a 275/35. Tire choice is somewhat odd on tirerack, but it would straddle the middle ground of 265/35 and 285/30.

Could also do 275/35/19 on a 19x10+42.

(This is all speculation and guesswork on my part, I have no background experience with aftermarket rims.)

I find it interesting that you said that "For the fronts, you may want to shoot for a slightly lower offset or move to a 245" considering we are going to be running the exact same wheel size and tire size. Only your wheel will be 1mm closer to the fender than mine?... I would like to call them and ask them to shave the front to a +38 offset but I'm not sure what the clearance will look like on the suspension.

The problem with the 275/35 tire is that its 26.57" diameter compared to 26" stock. 265/35 is 26.30" and 285/30 is 25.73". I'd like to stay as close to stock diameter as possible for the spedo and mpg calculations.

I spoke with Forgestar today and they said my current setup would fit. Just incase anyone wanted to know.

So when are you going to put em on? Seems like it would stick out too far - can't wait to see it! Are you planning a drop?

My F30 is on order and won't be here until the first week in January. I'm not planning on dropping it.

Cool, that's probably about when I'll get mine. I think I'm going to drive the car 1000 miles before I put any mods on the car. I don't want to get tires mounted on my wheels until I put the springs on b/c Discount Tire said that if we choose a size and it rubs, we can order another size as long as its the same day.

It's going to be tough looking at my wheels and other parts just sitting here for the first 1000 miles!

The reason I mention it is because my front fitment isn't final. I may end up just running 8.5 up front because I don't want to risk having issues in a parking lot.

Yea, I'm at the point of no return. After doing tons of research, I wish I would have gone 8.5 up front and 9.5 rear. That way the 265 would be a better fit on the 9.5 wheel. I keep flip flopping b/t the 265 and 285 tire. I'll probably change my mind 7 more times before I get my car.
