Apparently one uses this form with $200 to transfer the CPO. http://cpo.bmwusa.com/Content/docs/B...pplication.pdf I am sure the Dealership does it online. Last edited by IK6SPEED; 06-15-2018 at 06:19 PM.. |

That's pretty lame. Was thinking of doing CPO for my next car. No issues on my current car so maybe that would be the case so no need to pay the deductible or out of pocket when it's not covered. Presumably you can pay extra for more coverage.

I know that you can pay for extra years. Don’t know about extra coverage.

Because OP doesn't understand what the hell he's talking about and is confusing people. Here's how it works:
Car is sold say 1/1/13. It has 48 months / 50k warranty and maintenance. Anything before 1/1/17 OR 50k owner or dealer can extend for 1 or 2 years and choose to include maintenance or not. Assuming it's 2 years the car would have coverage for 6 years. So 6/1/18 you could buy a CPO car with only 6 months of warranty if it's for sale. This really isn't that complicated.

You cannot buy more coverage (only less such as Gold). Other Companies have 3rd party EW that cover different things for different terms and different rates. That’s why you need to read the ACTUAL contract for the EW you are buying. Not just the sales brochures or their webpage. There are major differences. |

Your point? Is BMW really the Ultimate Driving Machine? It’s simply a name. And a name for marketing only. |
