Pic of the battery rail?

Thats a term I've never heard before, so could somebody tell me where exactly the battery rail is? Pic would be great. Can't disconnect the battery on the F34, so to install a JB4, Terry said to lock the car, wait 10 minutes and put tape over the battery rail.

So nobody knows where the battery rail is, and nobody has bothered to ask before? Wonderful.

The battery is down there, but Terry says the rail can be shorted out by the USB when installing a JB4, so I have to assume its somewhere under the cowl.

The battery is inaccessible on the F34.

should be a red plastic tab covering a metal clip under the hood for a jumper cable to attach to.
If you're looking into the engine bay under the hood it would be like the upper left quadrant if it's the same as what they did for n54.
I'm not sure if that's different from the battery rail though.

I am thinking of installing a BMS stage 1. Any update on how to address the issue of disconnecting the negative battery terminal on F34? Thanks in advance.

The battery rail is basically the exposed terminals on the positive post on the passenger side under the hood, and there's also two bolts (may just be one) that have heavy gauge 12v wires attached to them that are on the "firewall" close to the engine in the same compartment that are also exposed so careful of them too.
