335i test drive, dealer telling untruths?
I stopped by my local BMW dealership last Saturday and requested to drive both a new 328i and a 335i. The CA that met me out in the lot said sure no problem. Drove the 328i, was mildly impressed (current car is an 02 330i). CA then went to find a 335i. He came back with what I'm guessing was a Sales Manager who said that the 335's they had on premises were still in travel mode and it would take awhile to get one ready for a test drive, and to make an appointment to come back and test it.
Was I given a line of BS about this "travel mode"? Thanks. |

Travel mode is real
It limits the RPMs, disables AC and rear defroster among other things. our Battery died on the Z4 and I left it for a week...it turned itself into travel mode. (it was waiting on tires to come in). but yeah Travel mode is not BS |
