F30 with 437Ms

Will post pics over the wend..thank you steelerfan for help and information.

I had 2014 M5 OEM 19x9 et29 fronts on all four corners with 255-35-19

I went with OEM 437M Fronts 19x9 et29 with 255/35-19, Rears 19x10 et40 with 265/35-19

I have room with this set up now to drop with no rubbing and I have no stretched tires.. Even better, with these forged wheels being lighter, I can feel the difference of less unsprung weight so it doesnt feel like I am lugging around 19x9s and 19x10s. I need to enlarge the photos but these are the best I have for now.

Definitely lowering car, looking at some used Bilstein Coilovers otherwise will go with B8 Sports and Eibachs

Great looking vehicle! As opposed to your vehicle, I have a base line 328i so I am not sure if the current height is the same. I do not plan on lowering it and I was curious if I got the same setup as you (wheels and tires), would it look ok?

David, to answer your question, it would look ok yes because the sidewalls are not so slim that they leave a lot of gap. However, before this car I had been driving a 2012 328i base model which is my wifes now. I put on the Msport body kit and had similar size wheels/tires then put on Bilstein Sports with Eibachs, which lowered it slightly and made the car look even better. I am not usually into lowering for fear of wife ripping off the front end, but it made the car look great and handle and ride so much better than stock. That was the one thing I hated about my base model, a bit bouncing especially as I went from the 17s to 19s. All of that was solved with the suspension change so maybe worth considering. I like cosmetic changes first but the suspension modification was a huge benefit and not that expensive. Rear shocks $122 each, front struts $222 each and eibach springs. approx $275 plus approx $300 labor install. One thing really nice about these OEM 437Ms, is being forged and very light so worth it to go this route vs replicas.

The other option, if you absolutely dont want to lower it at all, start with this. Right now my 335 has the rear B8 Bilstein shocks. I put them on to stiffen the rear but has the stock springs. I put them on myself one Saturday, took about 1.5 hours in my garage. Just putting these on, helped make the car feel more planted even though the front struts are stock. Eventually I'll change everything but try this one change and you will be amazed at the difference in ride and handling just because of two shocks.

Update with new photos after having it dropped. Just installed Pro Kit Eibachs and Bilstein B6 Sport Struts and Shocks. These photos are the same day it was done, it has since settled even more slightly. No gap at all front or rear and has a little rake from front to rear still. There is no poke at all. To remind, 255-35-19 on OE 437M 19x9 et 29 on front and 265-35-19 19x10 et 40 rears. No rubbing in front or rear. See pics, sorry not better quality but click on the picture and it should open a larger view.

t is a replica M3 front bumper, so are the side skirts and the rear bumper. This is the second kit I purchased from Selma. The first is on my wifes F30 and its the Msport kit. Jason from Selma gets them from Taiwan and the fit and finish is as close to OEM as can be. Thats not me telling you that...thats what my body shop stated. Prep for paint was minimal and everything lined up perfectly for install. Looking for closer front pic to attach, stay tuned.

Type in BMW F30 front bumper in ebay, look for listings that say Selma on the top right hand corner of the listing

Have you ever had rubbing at the front at least? I also have the oem 437s but had rubbing issues sometimes over dips. On completely stock suspension too. I thought 4 series have slightly more clearance but yeah I was fearing tire explosion lol.

My wheels have the stock PSS tires that come with stock M4 I don't know if they are considered "stretched tires":

So the first set of wheels are M5s but all four are fronts 19x9 et 29, Tires were 255-35-19 when suspension was the stock Luxury set up. No issues at all in front or rear even with extreme stress on turns or dips, trust me I tried to make them rub. Thats how I knew the fronts would be fine when I went to OEM 437M. I was a little concerned about rubbing but when I put those M5 19s on my wifes lowered F30, then I knew I was in good shape. Now that my car is lowered, have since tested dips and cornering with fronts and rears and nothing at all, not even slightly. I was -more concerned about the rears with 265-35-19 on 19x10s but previously on my wifes car I had 265-35-19s on 19x8.5 et33s lowered and they didnt rub either. You can tell I have tried some various options but I just paid attention to what others were doing and all of those worked fine. I cant stand even a little rubbing even if only once in a while and I cant stand poke and more than anything, dont like the look of stretched..My personal preference..

How is this setup riding? I am amazed that you fit those tires.

I have 235/35 and 265/30 and would like a little more tire.

sorry for the delay, they worked perfectly and drive and handle great, but I knew that going in as I think I mentioned above, my wifes car had 265-35s all on 4s with 19x8.5s and then moved her to 19x9 all 4 with 255/35s, lowered car. So I knew mine was going to work fine.

Not at all, if you look at the M2, it has 265/35s on 19x10 in the rear as OE so mine look very OE. My preference, is I would rather have the 275s because I actually prefer very meaty tires that area wrapping over the rim but I had 275s and even 285s on my car before with 19x9s and it rode and drove like crap. Was just too much tire. Part of it was the suspension also because i had a softer suspension at that time. Now I am lowered with Eibach and Bilstein which are perfect.

No rub or issues on front after some time has passed?

What brand are you using?
