Did anyone notoce that one of the interior gallery shots shows a 6MT manual transmission? Could this mean this will be an option in the United States?
Oops. Just saw the announcement that BMW will not be offering a manual transmission for this car in the US. Bummer! |

Sniff sniff. I feel like I just got dumped by BMW. I was looking forward to this car so much! I even sold my e92 to make room for it. That bitch! Lol, ok getting carried away there. Back to the drawing board I guess. I feel like an outcast nowadays looking for a manual, AWD, 4 door car. Not a heck of a lot of good options left. At this point I'm looking at an f30, e90 or an Audi (just for giggles). Am I missing anything here? Anyway, this right here is a gorgeous car. My heart remains broken. Feeling pretty down about this whole thing. Oh well, nothing a few good Super Bowl commercials won't fix! |

4 series has no x20 trim level in this country. 328 vs 428 GC is about $2500 apart.

Looks like this still has the "old" engines
@Scott26 Any news on the new ones? When will the B4x and B5x be available? If they get introduced with the 2 Sports Tourer thing I will hate BMW for life... Last edited by Ganxxta; 02-02-2014 at 12:52 PM.. |

If sales are strong , then we will see an M4 Gran Coupe but it can only be judged within a year of being on the market.
So far there is a proposal but establishment is needed before commitment.

Rear seat has a center seatbelt but no headrest? Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Rear wheel drive base 3 series vs front wheel drive base CLA, but some MB fan boys will insist CLA is a far better car than 3 series.

I would be very surprised to see someone driving either line, to make an attempt to change to the other line when the time comes... this is not around me and my world...it is very simple: if you want to compete with your competition, you need to extend your portfolio in a way that covers more ground, not overlap!...I could have lived with only 4 series coupe together with F30 sedan...although they are very similar, but at least 4 coupe is a 2-door...but what is the point of having a 3series and a 4series SO IDENTICAL??? If these two cars were a bit more different, then not only BMW covered more client territories but also securing more retention... how many who already own a F30 would have enough incentive to switch to a 4series GC or vise versa? That would be very surprising to me if that number is high... So if I can't afford a higher line up and i would want a bit of a different car and style after driving my F30 (or F36),...what's my other option? switch to other brands in the same price range...make sense? |

Found a nice little gimmick in the german pricelist:
It is possible to set how high the trunk will open via iDrive. Might be very helpful for low garages Sad that in germany we have to pay an extra of 2350€ for the sport auto while you guys have it already as standard |

As I've said once they decided to keep the wheelbase the same it ruined the car. The rendered versions I saw were based on the L 3 series version available in China and those looked great. The longer length would have made the execution better and look different enough. As it stands for me anyway its execution is not sucessful, looks identical to 3er and really kinda just looks like a 3GT....FAIL
