Need advice on 2PE vs 2PP
I'm going to be replacing the stock wheels on my 335i M Sport as soon as I get it, but still need to decide which to order..... 2PE or 2PP? Which set might have the best resale value?

I guess no one has a strong feeling one way or the other on this subject.
Taking a slightly different tack, would either or both 2PE and 2PP fit on a 2002 E46? Just thinking maybe I could swap in the stock F30 set onto my current E46 to freshen it up prior to selling it once I get my new F30. Thanks. skeeny |

The difference between 2PE and 2PP is just the staggered/tyre setup, correct?
I vote you do this, because it's my plan (albeit with the staggered wheels) 2PE, run the tyre tread down through normal use. Buy aftermarket rims (give the market time to come out with fitments for the F30) Put winters on the stockers. |

Maybe because of the timing of that arrival, I should plan on ordering ZAS and run those through winter, then put the replacement set on (which will be summers). 2PE is staggered? Whoops! I confused the two.
As an option by itself (I didn't realize you could add 2PE to just any F30), it doesn't make sense to get it if it only adds a higher top speed limiter (this can be coded separately) unless your replacement wheels will use the same tyres as the stock rims. |
