For those having the particular issue that the OP is experiencing, you could try and ask your service department if they have the Pirelli Cinturato P7 RFTs in stock and test them out. At the moment *Knock on wood*, we haven't experienced any issues. So maybe give it a try.

No offense but i didnt buy a sportline to get all season tires. I really like the contis and there 280 tread rating vs the 500 tread rating on the pirellis.
if you own a luxury or modern tho im sure they are a nice smooth tire that should last a while

The Pirelli Cinturato P7 RFTs come in both summer and all season versions. Do the summer version have a 500 tread rating??

Per Tire Rack, the Pirellis in summer version have a 260 treadwear rating and a AA traction rating.

I agree my friend.... Just thought about that and it would be totally counter-intuitive to get the all-season tires. But for our luxury line it has been great!

So the big question is, do 335 owners have this problem? If not, then bmw needs to replace the 328 racks with the 335 racks. If so, then back to square 1. lol
OP, if you have some time this weekend, you might want to test a 335... Im sure a lot more people have this problem, its just not very detectable unless you are looking for it, you really cant feel it.

Interesting that both the US 328i and the US 335i show new steering rack part #'s for March and new builds:
328i: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...71&hg=32&fg=12 335i: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...71&hg=32&fg=12 Seems that at least BMW thinks the 335i might have these same issues. Also interesting to see the they've replaced the Variable Sport Steering rack too, and that the standard 328i rack is made by ZF, while the 335i box is made by TKP, further it looks like the Variable Sport rack is the same for 328i's and 335i's, which makes it difficult to understand why all cars don't have the same standard, non-variable rack. |

Blue angel eyes
Hi I was wondering if the new 2012 328i base comes with the blueish colored angel eyes (like the 5 series and x5) instead of the yellowish color from the older model? I'm new to this so just askin! Thanks

I think there is a Xenon lights discussion thread somewhere on this forum but Halogen option is the more yellow and Xenon the more super white

Nope. I actually thought about this thread on my drive to work this morning and I let go of the steering wheel from 40-80mph. No vibration. Though I did notice my alignment is a little off.
