Share your basement (man cave)!

The "Share your Garage" thread got me thinking, with so many terrific garages, there must be some amazing man (or woman) caves around here as well! Mine is literally a blank canvas, so I'd love to see and gather some ideas!

I wish , I attended college right outside of Dallas. My new home I went in a different direction with the basketball court.
Its in the basement but put in Windows for some natural light & drywalled the brick concrete .

Our kid stole our basement and doesn't let us in there. No win here. My garage which I guard looks so bad I never changed the light bulb so I don't have to see it.

Thanks guys, seeing these made me realize I might have to think about getting a life. Or a cleaning lady.

Did you build the house knowing you'd need it deep enough to build this, or buy it this way?

Our cats own the basement. The garage is a pit. Wifey and I are confined to the living room/kitchen/bedroom.

I built the The Dallas Mav's theme court/house.
The Timberwolves one I bought and remodeled the entire house but had a appreciation for having natural light into the court and that the top is above ground level. The mav's one was under my garage and always leaked water from melting snow or strong rains. Even being heated , 20 feet underground was freaking cold.
The new one is about 10 ft underground and the top is about 15 ft above ground.

Amazing. I've been dreaming about an indoor half court like this for the past 5 years. One of these days I tell ya. Bravo.

Whoever came up with the term "man cave", should be buried under a cave. It's just the most annoying trendy catch phrase of all time. I hate it.

Lol.

Honestly, it wasn't my intention to ruin your day. I actually find these terms to be hilarious. I hope you can eventually find the humor in them as well.

I think when you get back to your "man Cave" after a hard day at work, you will start to feel better when you get comfortable in your "Man Cave"

Ok, I will stop now.
