Absolutely horrid interior. It lost it's simple German elegance.

That interior will not be making it to America from what I've heard at BMW NA.
For those who want to track the car, Cloth is a lot better due to its breathability and grip. Have you ever tried to track a car with leather upholstery on a hot day? Not exactly a fun experience. If you don't have at least a 4 point harness, you slide around all over the place too. |

Can't please everyone I'm someone who never owned a bmw and failed to pull the trigger on an e90 because, even after test driving one, the interior made me feel nothing. I decided to wait a few months to see what the f30 would look like. I'm glad I did because I have no reservations about it. It's exactly what many of us wanted. This interior will draw a lot of people to the 3 series that the e90 wouldn't have. Of course, it may lose a lot of people like yourself, that liked the e90 styling better. It's foolish though, to call this styling a failure just because some don't like it. That would be like saying those of us who like the styling were tasteless, uncultured human beings...sigh. You wouldn't agree with anyone who didn't like the e90's styling telling you it was a outright failure, right? In the end BMW took a gamble to see, if by changing the styling direction, they would draw in more than they would push away. Time will tell. |

I love these videos but they make me dizzy, this guy is in dire need of a iphone 4s w/ video image stablization.
There is one thing I noticed about the m-sport steering wheel, because of the retro look, it makes it appear to be thin by looks, like it needs to be beefier, maybe it's an optical illution. It makes the wheel circumfrance seem large, I hope it's not like that in person. Maybe it's because of all the space inside the wheel that makes it seem that way. The current m-sport wheel just looks and feels more beefier. |

And i've never seen a reviewer brown nose this much before. If you're after a freebee good try!!! "as an every day user of this car I like the little touches like the extra utility space" and he pulls up the tray to reveal the cup holders! Tadaaaa!!! It may have been good if you pushed a button to reveal the cup holders. But in the year 2012 to pull out a tray(which you will have to store in the glove compartment i'm presuming) to get to the cup holders, not cool!!! Bullsh*t review for all the brown nosing!!! |

I absolutely LOVE the F30, especially with the M Sports Package. It looks so aggressive! Can't wait for the M3/4 Coupe!! I really hope they don't name it the M4 for traditions sake. Anyway, this is my first post here, so I hope to join in many more discussions and look forward to the future updates!
Cheers. |

After looking at the newer pics on a computer instead of my phone, I have only one complaint about the new M Spot steering wheel. The design of it makes it look a little too large.

I just realized there was a video up of the M Sport from AutoSpies. Im lovin' this car even more. That M Sport steering wheel doesnt look large in the video like it does in pics. Nice. And for once, I am going to consider an automatic!

Don't falsely assume that everyone who owns an E90 is core customer or true BMW customer. Guess what? Every initial reviewer has been praising the new car - from looks to performance to comfort. You don't like it and that is fine. But don't generalize and make false assumptions about core customers. |

Alcantara provides better grip, but I’d still prefer leather. If I want an Alcantara seat, it’d have to be a performance/racing seat. I don’t really care for all the electronic stuff either. I’d prefer a simple, lightweight car that handles great, but time has changed, so I suppose I just have to learn to embrace them.
As for the new M steering wheel, I’m not sure why they've chosen to copy it from Ford/Mazda, which I don't particularly like, but I have to say BMW did make it look slightly better, and as long as the rim is as thick as the current M steering wheel, I'm OK with it (still prefer the new standard steering wheel though). However, if they were going to copy it from someone else, I wish they had copied it from Ferrari. The Ferrari Enzo's steering wheel is still the best steering wheel IMO. |

The real world pictures are not as good.
the seats are dull to look at.... it makes the whole interior seem dull and old. Nay for the interior Yay for the exterior |

Apparently you don't recall past BMW wheel designs. There's only so much you can do with the steering wheel, and this new M-Sport design draws strong influence from past design cues and gives them a modern, integrated, minimalistic look. Just because the Mazda and the Stang have circular hub surrounded by three spokes does not mean that BMW copied them. That Enzo's wheel is too costly and the ergonomics would turn off a huge market of potential buyers. These are mass-produced cars, of course.
