Purely in the interests of researching my new car, I have watched this film about 50 times.

Maybe one time I will see the end!!!!

I'm not sure, but I found the x3 noticeably smaller in the back than the 3er, and sat more upright too, and ultimately not a comfy place to be as an adult.

And the msport rft combo in a taller car just seemed to emphasise the lateral jiggles and crashyness more than in the lower cars.

I struggled to even consider one vs a 3er.
The wife liked it being taller, but the higher price and other drawbacks make it hard to justify.

The only thing it has which is nice for the UK is xdrive on a 40i engine.

I sat in a G01 in the showroom as found the rear legroom to be excellent; my children (13&11) agreed it was much better than my F31 which we had just stepped out of.

Out of interest which model did you test drive, what wheel / suspension combination did it have? I am considering a G01 X3 and was hoping that the ride was equally as good as the G31 SE I test drove (on 19" wheels and standard springs / rear air suspension).

Cheers,
Minty

She can. It’s just that she left them at my house.
