Can you confirm? (Same as my current configuration...) Quote:

If I could afford the coil overs, I would have done it too, so I think you are doing it correctly. I can't wait to have 15mm spacers all around. Will keep you all posted.

Here are a few pictures. Quality is not great as the sun was going down, but good enough to get an idea as to what the 18mm/12mm looks like.
The difference between 15/10 and the current 18/12 is obviously a difference of mm. But when you add those additional mm together, its a significantly wider stance in a small way if you know what I mean haha. |

What size spacers did you end up going with? |

Using the 18/12 setup, that leaves you with +24mm front and +29mm rear. That's pretty damn aggressive lol. But judging by your pictures, there's no poke, and you mentioned there was no rubbing. So either there's way more room than we thought, or those wheel offsets as provided by BMW are lower than actual. Thoughts? I'm still more than likely getting the 18/12's . |

Something else to consider is what type of tires you will be running. As you can see in my pictures, the stock RFT's have a very shallow sidewall compared to say the MPSS tires. Because the MPSS are much beefier tires, those might protrude out past the fender quite a bit more than my stock RFTs. If you dont plan on running MPSS, and will likely stick with the stock RFT's, I dont think you can go wrong with the 18/12. And if you are not lowered, then definitely no issues. If you are slammed on coils or H&R super sport springs, then maybe that could cause a greater chance of rub. Good luck with your decision! |

Wheels are stock 18" 398m with MPSS and 18" BBS SR with WS80 (225/45R18 square) for winter. Anyone with this setup know if 12mm front/15mm rear would work?

I've been looking and reading here. I just picked up a 2015 335i M-sport with adaptive suspension on OEM 19's (style 704, I believe). This will be our family car, so I'm not looking for a crazy power, really loud-smelly, harsh riding car. I am looking to improve upon the already positive attributes of the F30. I just sold a heavily modded Golf R APR Stage lll, but we had an X5 for our family car, so I didn't mind an aggressive setup for the R.
I just placed an order for a Bootmod3 stage 2 tune, AR design catted downpipe, and VRSF spacers (10mm front along with 12mm rear). I was planning on placing the order with 12mm front and 15mm rear, but Mike from Extreme Power explained that 12 and 15 would be slightly aggressive. He only mentioned this because I explained that this would still be a family car that my wife would be driving at least half the time. I also plan to burn through these RFT tires and go with a non runflat, one size larger. Currently, the tires are OEM 225 front and 255 rears: Bridgestone POTENZA S001 RFT. I plan to go to 235 front and 265 rear non runflat within the next year. Please forgive the stupid question, but do you think I'll be ok with the order I placed. I am not looking for any type of rubbing or fitment issues... |

Hi guys,
I have 2014 320d M package with M suspension. How do I know if it is adaptive? I have the comfort and sport mode button. Does that do anything with the suspension? From the iDrive settings it looks like it does. Is it true that the M suspension is 10mm lowered than without? And what is the best/max spacer size for 403M 19” staggered setup rims without rubbing, rolling fenders, adjust liners or whatsoever ? Originally it has 8J front and 8,5J in the back. These are the option I have according to vin decoder on internet: S337 M Sports Package S704 M Sports Suspension S715 M Aerodynamics Package Thanks for any advise! Not a direct answer, but I hate waiting, too.
I believe that S704 is NOT adaptive, but the standard M Sport suspension. I think adaptive suspension was an additional package/cost and was option code SA2VF. I can't speak to the 10mm lower, as I drive a (formerly) sky-high xDrive/MSport vehicle. For spacers, I have 400M winter wheels, square, and run 12mm spacers up front and 15mm in the rear to make them flush with the fenders. My 400Ms are ET 34, front and rear. My summer wheels are 19x8.5 ET 35/19x9.5 ET43 with no spacers and they run flush to the fenders with no rubbing or fender mods. I read that 403Ms are ET 36/47, respectively, if that helps. I hope it does, at least a little. Good Luck.
