Last post from me on the topic. Believe what you want (and by now I know you realised you had it wrongly, just can’t admit it).

I posted official BMW documentation and a link to XHP's writeup on launch control. It's really as simple as that. I dont need to try and google or find anything else. That information, from reputable sources, speaks for itself. The quotes you posted from random websites are irrelevant really. You can keep saying in your posts that i am wrong but that is your opinion and it means nothing when its not backed by the reliable information/documentation we have available. I'll gladly admit when i am wrong and participate in the forums to share information and learn, and part of that is also helping other newer members understand when there are conflicting/differing information on the same topic.
