Hi,
If a VIN check lists the vehicle with professional setup, but it only actually has business, would there be a reason?

Could the business unit be a straight swap with a professional one?

What sort of things would I look for to see if any remnants of professional is still there and if It could be swapped back?

No. The idrive unit must have your vin coded.

Check your sales contract. See what options are listed. You could install a NBT with a can filter aka activation module

No, wasn't from a dealer. Not at home currently, will look more into it when I'm back. It's a strange one.
