HK Setting for Electronic/EDM Music
What are some of the tricks of making the HK system really pop for EDM music. I mostly listened to 70% EDM and 30% rock/metal. I'm guessing i need to cut the lower end on the EQ (100hz) by quite a bit? I've messed around with the setting, but i would like to see how everyone are setting theirs up. Thanks for the help and advice!

I turned off L7... Doesn't sound like majority of the sound is coming from center dash now.

I did that at first, but then for fun I went back to L7. If you listen to it for a while you'll hear some cool effects on some songs. It definitely emphasizes the upper frequencies, hence my EQ adjustments.
If I went L7 off, my EQ settings would look different. |

I am very particular about my audio... my home set up is rather nice (McIntosh, B&W, etc).
Here are the settings that work the best for me. It definitely tames the high end/treble and keeps the bass from being boomy. With these settings, you should be able to turn it up with your ears bleeding, or experiencing too much distortion from the bass frequencies. Interestingly, my settings aren't too far off from member Sirrus |

Because sitting in the driver's seat, your much closer to the speakers on the left. Boosting the right side of the car will help the imaging. You ca test this by listening to some solo vocals. Move the balance until the singer is right in front of you, then you'll know it's locked in.

yea i do
a lot of media players have equalizers, and within them there are presets for like dance, rap, jazz, techno. all them have high treble on the dance settings. sounds good to me tho.
