Anyone toss in Bimmertech amp with their HK system?

Just wondering has anyone here thrown in a bimmertech amp in their HK system and how they liked the results?

Did it improve the HK alot over stock?

Our amp is not compatible with the HK system.

Herakles - The HK system isn't just an upgraded amp in the trunk. Audio is run from the head unit to the trunk amp via fiber, rather than an analog line. The Bimmertech amp, and PP82DSP it starts life as along with most amplifiers, can't accept the fiber link (it isn't just a standard TOSLINK). Those of us who have upgraded our HK systems (other than just dropping in Bavsound speakers) are using a pre-amp that can deal with the fiber link. I'm pretty sure almost everyone is using a MoBridge DA1 or DA2. They aren't cheap bits of equipment.

Yeah, the HiFi is actually easier (and cheaper) to deal with in regards to doing aftermarket upgrades (Analog at the amp, the speakers are lower impedance in the Hifi, there are less of them, etc...). If you go with a 340, since you can't avoid the HK in it, be prepared to spend the 500 clams the MoBridge will cost you (minus anything can save buying one used if you possible and you want to go that route).

The HK is really good. I don't feel any desire to change it
