Park on Poath Rd or in William St. Not sure if Bowden Automotive will be closed at the time. I noticed some spots there during my walk.

Majority vote 1830. +- 15 mins.
Old Google Maps street view screen shot. RACV is the actual location and it's called Mr Detail now. This may still change to CCP. I may check it out after work on Thursday. Bowdens is the same. Same painted colour too.

Sounds like a plan. If Bowens is closed I'll park there else William St looks like a good spot. Housing area.

Look forward to it guys. I'll aim for 1830 arrival.

How will we recognise each other? I'll be driving my company car, a silver Ford Falcon.

Me too. Me too. We will just know. Big smiles on our faces. Or you may see one of us rock up in our toys, then you'll really know.

Yeah I figured if I see arms hanging out of the side of a F30 M Sport, music blaring and dark sunnies to boot, I will know.

What?! Never heard of this song before!

Ha just kidding. What if you're walking around in the shop by the time I arrive, will you play it on your phone speaker?

What? BMW don't supply umbrellas... they supply med kit, break down tools etc.. but no umbrella?! Incredible.

Came across a disappointing story - detailer putting Opticoat on new car and basically does with the product what some hired painters do with paint - doesn't use the recommended level of product.

Apparently detailer wasn't even using the whole bottle of prep fluid before applying the treatment, and was using 20% of the treatment to cover the entire car or only doing a single coating (recommended is at least 2)

I hate to think how many he's done and all the people thinking they've got good protection.

Ya it's this distrust that I have for people... I will only go to ppl who come highly recommend. I have seen a lot of ppl lacking integrity everyday no surprises.

I usually only do 1 coat of carnauba wax but I detail pretty often. As soon as I feel shine n beading fading it's time for a new round.

Dealer needs to be reported to Opti-Coat and a solution sought.
