Vossen VVS CV1 Matte Black vs. VMR V701 Gunmetal for F30 sedan
I am interested in THE LOOK only. I am aware of the difference in quality (VMR is gravity cast; Vossen is low-pressure forged) which is reflected in the higher price for the Vossens. I am willing to spend more money on the Vossens or less for the VMR, I don't care. These would be 19" four-square for a Sportline Melbourne Red. I couldn't find any pics with the F30 in Melbourne Red for either wheel, so you'll need your imagination to picture them on the 328i. Which looks better in your opinion?

OP here: I think I'm getting the drift here...I'm kind of surprised though. As much as I love the VMRs I thought the Vossens came in a close second. I have to travel 30 minutes to see the Vossens live and 75 minutes to see the VMRs at Bavarian Auto in Portsmouth, NH. Which I will do when the time comes!
All opinions welcome! |

Oh shoot I didn't know the Voss were forged. I thought they were cast? Props if those are forged.
What do you think of VMR V702 in Matte Gunmetal? Ugh I really want to get a set of these on my car soon!!

BTW, I just found out that Vossen does not make a 19" CV1 in Matte Graphite Silver, so that's no longer an option for me. |

It's pretty amazing: I've posted this poll here and on Bimmerfest. Not one person out of about 20 has preferred the Vossen. That's good because the Vossen is not an option for me anymore since they don't make the 19s in Matte Graphite Silver. VMR it is--but I'm surprised the opinion is unanimous.

^They are very similar wheels. Two differences I noted: the second wheels has beveled edges on the spokes, and also the spokes come to about 1/4" from the rim. The VMR does not have bevels on the spokes and come right up to the rim.
