TPMS issue?
Today I got into my car after work and the warning system came on saying I had a LOW tire, but it showed all 4 tires in yellow. Were they all low? Should it single out the one that is low? I would think with all the tech in this car it could tell me which one was the low tire. Thanks for the input.

Only taking delivery of my F30 this week. I know that my E90 is showing all 4 wheels lost pressure when one has got a lower pressure that the other.

Well, it is normal if all 4 are low... And not normal if only one is.
Any drastic change in temperature or altitude or anything? Every winter in NY that will happen. Assuming that didn't happen through the course of your workday.. So just check them manually and you'll find out...... |

Take it to a BMW dealer or any other place that has Nitrogen. Fill up the tires with Nitrogen and this is help out greatly with the TPMS mis-reading. This is because Nitrogen is not affected by external temperature and pressure factors. Also if you should inflate the tire on an emergency you can use normal air when needed. Mixing it with the Nitrogen is perfectly ok.

Did'nt have the chance till this morning. I did see that it should single out tires with issues. I was able to check tire presure also this morning once I found my guage and all tires were at about 30 psi. Was able to get tires to correct pressure today before work and reset TPMS.

Thanks to everyone for the quick info. I was able to get the pressure set correctly this morning and get the TPMS reset. All tires back in the green. I was reading about the coding that will show you the actual PSI, thought that should just be standard, but something cool to maybe do in the future. Thanks again to all the posters!

The rental Suburban we just took on a road trip showed individual tire pressures in psi. It even had a trans temp readout, useful for towing. |

f10 19 inch wheels to f30 320d
Hi. I'm getting my 320d tomorrow with stock 414 17inch wheels with run flats. I already have seen 19s that I want to put on. Can I transfer the TPMS to the new rims and reset them on iDrive?
