Need some help please...
This is my first BMW, first rear wheel drive car and I do about 50/50 city/hwy. I have no idea which tires to chose for this car even after reading multiple reviews from sites like consumer reports 1010 tire etc -- not even sure if run flats are worth it or not... help me A guy at the tire shop recommended the Conti Barum Polaris 3 - I was gonna go with the Hankook W310 iCept or W409s... anyone have experience with these? Conti Barum Polaris 3 Bridgestone Winterforce Hankook W409 iPike Hankook W310 iCept Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 Continental TS830P Michelin Xi3 Michelin PA3 Toyo Garit KX Pirelli W210 SottoZero 2 Dunlop Wintersport 3D Last edited by carconvert; 10-10-2012 at 09:11 PM.. |

Winterforce are great and cheap. WS70, PA3, SottoZero 2, or Wintersport 3D if you want a sporting tire.
You might also want to check out Nokian WR or WR2 if you want an all season with severe winter rating (aka the "snowflake"). They do a great job and are in between a winter and A/S tire as far as compromises.
