Alpine white or metallic white for a sport F30?

That's what i thought, Alpine white is the classic white from the bmw racing teams, right?

Mineral white (metallic paint available on current M3's) gives off more contrast thus accentuates the body lines better than alpine especially under bright daylight. More textured reflection at night as well.

glacier silver is not white...
therefore those are different colors...

white is white...
glacier silver is somewhere between the titanium silver (e46/e90) and the artic silver (e36)

I ordered Mineral White. Production starts in March. First time to have it on regular 3 series.

can't go wrong with either choice. i went with alpine white because i didn't want to wait and it really wasn't a big enough difference to justify the extra cost for me.

The first customer Production Mineral White F30 rolled off the line this week in the Rosslyn South Africa factory

All colors are now in production
Germany will switch soon

Ugh! Just checked my order status and still not in production Hope next week it starts. Cant wait to see an F30 in Mineral White.

Normally I'm all for metallic colors.. except for white... white just has to be Alpine white.. I don't know why, but it just has to be like that

Looking at those comparison shots I really like mineral white. I would order it over alpine if I was going to get white again.
