Fill the flux capacitor with plutonium and drive at 88mph should do it!

Or if you're being serious, use the iDrive as you would for nearly all vehicle settings!

Go into the vehicle settings menu in I drive then click time/date. Easy as that...

RTFM hahaa. There was a power outage at my house and the clock on my microwave is flashing the wrong time. How do I change it to the correct time? I've tried the idrive settings several times with no luck? I'll call my SA.

Unplug it, wait until either noon or midnight, plug it in.

I know I know. Try to be gentle to the n00bs, but really; they bring it on themselves.

My first BMW I must have read that manual 20 times; I was fascinated and excited. Not reading the manual on complex machinery and tech just isn't very smart.

And none of us have the time to read it, but we make time for what we want somehow.

I will readily admit that I don't RTFM until I can't figure something out--but I do go through all of the menus and settings over and over;

I have to say the manual is a little weird and is missing a bunch of info anyway. Must be the german way. I couldn't even find the lug nut torque settings in the manual.

It's printed on the side of the lug nut wrench.

Which is kept in a secret compartment next to the spare tire and spare dipstick. Sorry, couldn't help myself.

iDrive has the build-in owners manual and search function as well. You can use it to find answer to these kind of questions. It also has light bulb codes, procedure to change light bulbs and other good stuff. Take a look around in there while parked
