Final leg of a long journey

Well, looks like my car is on the final leg... at last.

Received at KARIONG on 4 Dec 2013
Despatched to Pt Kembla on 4 Dec 2013, on load number xxxxxx
Received at Pt Kembla on 4 Dec 2013
On a planned load on 6 Dec 2013

Unfortunately my dealings with Stratton have taken a turn for the worse. They seem like very nice people but the level of competence and logistics co-ordination leaves room for improvement.

Considering I am the owner of the vehicle since last Friday I will be glad to see it next week.

Anyone considering using Stratton send me a PM. Pros and cons.

Well, on one of the wettest December days in memory ... it is here.

Weather has conspired against getting any decent shots before it got filthy so just a quick garage shot. Nothing fancy like some of the other boys, will get to that.

I really like the way the blue breaks up the interior.

... and most importantly, it is cat approved (no, she is not supposed to be in there )

Only done a total of 20km, every meter a pleasure.

Booked in for a proper clean and cquartz finest application on Sunday. Pics to follow.

Take care all... good times

Beautiful car.

At least yours is white. Mine is black and absolute PITA to keep looking half decent. Absolutely given up over this recent Melbourne weather.

Congrats ab156, you beat me - just

Nice looking car and a brave cat. Mine will be banned unless it's a life saving vet trip, in the near future!

Hmmm, as per a post to me, are you missing the centre seatbelt in the rear? I can't see it in your pic, either. I'm sure it's not missing, but the one in the loaner I have is as obvious as.

Anyway, well done and enjoy!

No, it's there.. the Germans are clever little engineers. The centre belt actually has two buckles, if you undo the little bottom one by inserting the blade from the normal one in the release hole it will come free and retract up behind the head rest. All very clever.

Off to do the first mod, rig the passenger headrest to the shipping position.

Wow, I'll check that out. Excellent thinking. I'll have to remember to tell the US person who queried me.

To make it lower, yes? Isn't that no good if you have a passenger through?
