i think it depends on the color of your car.. i think they both look good on white, but not sure how the matte would look on black, for instance.. i dunno.. most people tend to do w/ the gloss..

I have Estoril Blue and, I agree, glossy is more popular. Anyone have photos of matte on EB?

Matte looks better on all of them, except I don't care for anything other than stock on black cars IMO

i am suprised that many ppl are putting black grille without black rims, i feel like the stock grill looks better if the rims are not black or darker shade

I definitely prefer the glossy, M Performance Black Grilles. Merely personal preference.

Scored MPerformance grilles new for $50! I was on the fence, but at that price it's a no brainer.

I just bought the M- grill (glossy) and now that I have it on my Alpine White F30, I'm not a fan of the glossy finish. The problem is it clashes with the lower mesh grill. If the lower mesh were glossy that would be fine, but it looks a little odd on my white car.

Do you have the shadow line gloss black trim? That was my final decision, on my M-Sport the gloss black matches the gloss trim around my windows.

Does anyone have a pic of the glossy on an Estoril Blue?

To stay on topic- I think the matte looks better on the white

Hello,
Thanks for asking. Yes... I do have the glossy black trim, but I don't really notice it when I'm looking at the front of the car. (just me)

I tried to take some photos, but it’s really hard to see in photos. When you’re looking at the front of the car, the glossy of the grill is just a different texture and look than the lower mesh. Maybe It’s just me, but I notice the contrast between the two. take a look
