i think it depends on the color of your car.. i think they both look good on white, but not sure how the matte would look on black, for instance.. i dunno.. most people tend to do w/ the gloss..

I have Estoril Blue and, I agree, glossy is more popular. Anyone have photos of matte on EB?

imo matte only looks good on black cars, cos it shows some subtle contrast.. in all other cases its glossy for me..

I definitely prefer the glossy, M Performance Black Grilles. Merely personal preference.

Scored MPerformance grilles new for $50! I was on the fence, but at that price it's a no brainer.

I just bought the M- grill (glossy) and now that I have it on my Alpine White F30, I'm not a fan of the glossy finish. The problem is it clashes with the lower mesh grill. If the lower mesh were glossy that would be fine, but it looks a little odd on my white car.

Hello,
Thanks for asking. Yes... I do have the glossy black trim, but I don't really notice it when I'm looking at the front of the car. (just me) I tried to take some photos, but it’s really hard to see in photos. When you’re looking at the front of the car, the glossy of the grill is just a different texture and look than the lower mesh. Maybe It’s just me, but I notice the contrast between the two. take a look |
