Power Trunk Retrofit F32?

Hi

BMW F32 M-Sport. 420d. 2017.

Does anyone know how to retrofit power trunk, I have the key fob but it doesn't really work. I've looked at bimmer-tech but they only have for F30 and i don't want to pay 600 dollars for it, that's pretty expensive for that form of luxury.

Its just frustrating that a BMW M-Sport from 2017 doesn't have that function, not even automatic folding side mirrors. it cost me around 1000 dollars to buy OEM side mirrors.

On the F30 he trunk is spring lifted. No power there. Would imagine it to be the same om F32. The springs will open the lid when the lock is released by long pressing the trunk button on the fob. If it "doesn't really work" you could tighten the springs by moving them one or two hole(s).

Looking at realoem.com there doesn't appear to be a power lift option.

Long pressing the trunk button on the fob doesn't open the trunk 🤔 i saw a video where he adjusted the springs, easy fix. But the problem I have is that the fob doesn't even open the trunk, is there something broken or do I have to retrofit some part?

I can't see the point of having the button on the fob if it doesn't do anything.

It should at least pop up a little so you can swing it open. But only the F36 has a power trunk as far as I know and the actuators would never fit an F32.

The F31 and F34 have power lids, probably because of their weight. The same would apply to the F36.

Does it at least unlock the trunk?
