David! Thanks for the prompt response.

Couple questions

1) That takes the area off but how did you light it or make it brighter? Please explain a little more? I saw and read where you bought LEDs. Did you add leds in the red circles? Was it just one brighter one or multiple?

2) I just got a new interior and want to install the front seats. What do I need to do? Unplug the battery?

David,
Thanks for the response. My red area is hard plastic. I think you had to cut these to remove the trim to get it painted? Also, I do not have the screws on the ends. Were these added?

LED - What LED did you replace? I see a fiber optic attachment to a powered LED? DO you know if it is a an SMD? or what type?

Also, I disconnected battery, replaced seats. One of my seats the seat belt pretensioner was bad!!! Grrr, didn't notice it until the error light came on and that it was about four inches shorter. Looks like it fired and broke and someone just put it back on the seat to sell it....

Hello
yes, I cut the hard plastic with a dremel order to disassemble the piece and paint it blue.
yes, I added the screws and washers to keep the room after painting.

Here the LED blue model I have in place.

Congrats to your new M235i.

But I must say I like the F30 better than the 2er. Specially the interior.
