I'm headed out there from Murrieta

I just got a new base model alpine white 320i. No plates yet but I need some coding so it won't be too base-y

Nice pictures! Thanks for posting them. I planned on taking some pics too, but just didn't get a chance.

To all of the people that showed up; sorry about having to wait so long. We had way more people than I've ever had before show up and the other coders that were going to help out weren't able to make it out there today. I finished coding about 5:30 tonight. I'm still counting the number of cars I coded today!

I also know that some people had to bail out before I could get to them and I apologize for that.

If you had to bail, you can always send me a private message (PM) and we can setup a one-on-one coding session if you are able to drive out here (Ventura County); no waiting necessary! I'm available most evenings to do that and I code a lot of cars this way. There are also other people that can code in the LA and OC areas. Send me a PM and I can try to connect you.

Again, great turnout today. I had lots of fun meeting everyone and saw some really nice cars!

And to to guy from Birmingham (sorry, I can't remember your name), thanks again for the gift! That was very thoughtful and generous of you!

I'm located in Orange County. I planned to came out yesterday after work but I had to code 2 persons who wanted to drive to my place instead of LA zoo. By the time I was done, it was too late and i was a lil tired so i couldn't make it. I hope everyone has fun. Hopefully we'll have a coding session here in Tustin soon.

I did a count from the E-Sys log files. We coded 14 cars yesterday; a new record!

I'll PM you and coordinate a day/time in November in Tustin so that you can be there too.

I don't want to be the only coder there again if we get another big turnout!

I primarily code F30s. I know what works on specific model years and based on what equipment is on the car.

I have coded many F10's (also F11, F13, F15, F25, etc), but almost exclusively in one-on-one coding sessions.

It takes me about 3 times longer to code non-F30's because I'm not that familiar with the other platforms. The coding procedure is exactly the same, but the ECU modules and setting are significantly different on F10's compared to F30's.

So, if you can do the research, have the F10 coding sheet with you, and know *exactly* what you want coded (i.e. you have the codes marked on the sheet), then yes, you're welcome to bring your F10 and I'll help code it for you.

If not, then it would be best to setup a one-on-one session. I don't mind hunting down codes or doing experimentation, but it takes a long time and is not fair to do this at a meet as there are many other people waiting to have their cars coded too.

If you want to do a one-on-one coding session, I'm available most evenings and some weekends if you are willing to drive out here (Ventura County). PM me and we can coordinate.
