Just got a new 528I for Christmas Having lots of fun trying out all of your great eq setting suggestions. I do like the L7 but only for certain music, some older classic rock songs seem to sound better without L7 on.
I tried Dabaitu's updated eq settings and like it for different types of music other tunes sound better with his original settings. However, music is like wine, food and women, its all a matter of taste. With aloha from Stephen in Hawaii

Timing couldn't be better here as I just received my first BMW with HK Audio.

Tried the newest settings from GlennNYC and really like what it did to the experience, music sounds much much better now:

Treble flat
Bass flat

L7 on

100Hz +5
200Hz -5
500Hz +1
1kHz flat
2kHz flat
5kHz -1
10kHz -1
