I-Drive display

My display has been resetting itself to the big BMW letters then back to normal operation a couple of times where the temperature has been -10c. Not necessarily a problem but not something I expected to see. Has anyone else had this lately?

Not happened to me because of the temp.

It has, however, rebooted on a number of occasions when my iPhone 5 has been USB connected to play music. Think that's actually to do with the BMW Connected App running on the phone. Have stopped using that and all seems to be well (touch wood).

Garage List
Not seen it, but not had the cold down that far yet... Altho I would imagine it would be rated far below that for other markets...

I've seen a few times but doesn't seem to be due to the temp. When you start the car it displays BMW on iDrive and on the Black Panel Display. Seems harmless.

No, the resets seem to happen about a minute after driving off.

Could this be the BMW's answer to the MS Windows BSOD!
