You posted a picture of what I'm assuming is YOUR car. I'm not seeing m-perf wheels which are the most overpriced nastiest wheels one could ever set eyes upon. I feel people who buy m-performance tricked out cars have pretty bad taste, but that's just my opinion. Your car with the wheels in the pics looks great. If it was sporting m-perf wheels I'd give you a instead of a |

The MSRP is 74k for the manual. Car is fairly well equipped as base. Paying 70k for souped up coupe makes very little sense. With real M (whatever that means) you get tons of performance items you still can't get on 435. At least last years edition came with m performance suspension. The price for the 335 can be justified I guess. It also gives the best bang for your buck considering the extras of the special edition. |

It's right here...
I put on the same options that come with the F30 M Perf edition. There was NO option on the F80 for individual paint, which is a $5,000 option...and no option for 20" forged wheels (405M), which is a $4,500 option...brings the total to over $100K. (also no front splitter, black kidneys, blah, blah, blah) I'm not saying I would put this same configuration together if I was to order an F80, I'm just proving my point on the price difference on the two cars spec'd out as close as possible. Just kidding, but seriously though, a $75k M3/M4 seem much more appealing to me then these wannaby M cars full of useless parts on which you pay the premium for! I'd buy a stripped M3/M4 before any special edition 335/435, just the wide body on those Ms makes up for all the M Performance goodies!! |

Are you for real? You're comparing the price of the same options on an m3/m4 to those on a 335? LOL
I'd take a no option m3/m4 any day of the week over an "m" sticker covered 335. |

Keep it Factory
I like these cars quite a bit. They're what they should have been from the factory originally, which is how I built my 335i as well. I opted for the M-Performance parts, as opposed to aftermarket products, simply because I wanted to keep my BMW, well, a BMW. The only aftermarket parts I have on my car are H&R Sport springs, which BMW races on, a K&N air filter, and an aFe ram air scoop. These cars have an amazing array of specialty parts on them for the price! Hope they find good homes.
To give you an idea, the M-Performace parts on my car: Pedals, CF/Alcantara M-Sport wheel, Full CF/Alcantara interior, CF shifter, CF mirror caps, CF lip spoiler, black grilles, exhaust on order. Cannot wait for the new sound!!

BASE MSRP $62,000 Yas Marina Blue Metallic$550 Silverstone Full Merino Leather$2,650 Executive Package$4,300 M Double-clutch Transmission with Drivelogic$2,900 Destination & Handling:$925 TOTAL: $73,325 I don't understand how you can get to $100k, unless you're not talking USD. It's an M3, not a Rolls Royce, what the hell are you guys putting in there?! Listen, if the base price of the car is $63k and customers are adding $30k-$40k in options, it's the customers that are driving up the price, NOT BMW. There is demand, and BMW is supplying. I'd be extremely happy with my $68k MSRP M3, which would be the same MSRP as my 2013 M3... hence no price change and even more options. ---------------------------------------- A lot of you speak about purity, talk shit about electronic steering, bitch about heavy weight, rip BMW apart for active sound, then you go and order drivers assist package with blind spot monitor, self parking, side and top view cameras, active cruise control, soft close doors, auto braking, on an M3/4...

A purist instead of the Lexus fans we have these days buying BMWs... that drive like a Lexus. No offense to Lexus, but BMW and Lexus were once on different planets. Now Lexus comes out with a car that is more fun to drive and feels better than a BMW. Very sad.

That makes you the luckiest m3/m4 buyer because you live in USA. Sales tax here in BC is 15%(5%GST, 7%PST, 3% luxury tax) And dealers charging $2995 - $3299 for freight and PDI.

I was in BMW Vancouver, Canada today and thought I would share some pics of this, once remembering this thread.
Those 20 inch wheels really looked great, especially considering the XDrive typically has a pretty bad wheel gap. Last edited by ChrisMT79; 05-26-2014 at 06:40 PM.. |

For many, it's what the car look like. For other like me, it's how the car drive. I need AWD. No "true M car" for me. I put the trigger on a 435i Xdrive M Sport with the 2 options that affect the way the car drive. MPPK and MPE for 58k CAN$ ! |
