It's an Alpina traditional styling element just like kidney grills for BMW. The first set of Alpina wheels I ever saw was in 1971.... finned style.

Indeed larger than usual, therefore nicer to look around.

Alpina 3er Touring is superb looking.

I understand its Alpina tradition but same wheels don't look same on different body types. It's just my opinion.

So, here I am coming with the same question:
will they be offered in Canada ? US?
I am really interested. I believe that due to the special attention, Alpina's are more reliable than regular BMW's.
Jason, Dackelone, will these toys be offered in Canada/US?
If yes, do you know if we get the diesel as well (D3)?

Thank you.

The only Alpina model that BMW NA currently imports to the US market is the Alpina B7. Perhaps that will change in time. I think the X3D would stand the best chance to be the "next" Alpina model for the US market. But that's just my own guess.

Pretty sure there's much more to come from Alpina's model range. X4D would be great and obivous since there's already the X3D.

I'm welcoming it!

My dealer told me that the only reason why the B7 is sold in NA is because there's no M version in the 7 series range. The rest of the Alpina cars have M versions and BMW doesn't want to sell Alpina models which might take a bit out of M sales in NA.

That's bad.
I wanted an Alpina for more finesse and for all the power put into an AWD.
B3/D3 will be my choice.

I absolutely love Alpinas, and the new F3x-based cars is no exception! That Alpina-green B3 is just amazing

Alpine does it right every single time. Modified but still not over the top. Just right.
