I had the same problem in the past. The problem was related with the oil cap, the small inner part inside the oil filter part was missing as well as small rubber gasket.
Usually when it ends at 17% it's cause of the pressure, not enough of pressure will cause it to stop the measurement process. |

I had same problem. Make sure your engine oil cap contains the same plast net which should go onsite the oil filter, at the tip you need to have a rubber gasket as well.
Usually when oil measurement process stops at 17% it means there is not enough of pressure in the system. |
