Ambient temperature sensor

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get an ambient temperature sensor to connect the 3 wires in attached picture as the only sensor I can source is one that will connect two wires?

What do you have? 2017 320D? The wring diagram shows 2 wires for the ambient air sensor. Why do you have three wires?

Should trace the three wires and see where they go. Then you identify which is which.

I have checked at least 15 BMWs in a breakers yard and they are all 2 pin sensors

Based on the wiring info, they are all two wires. So what I’m saying is you need to trace those three wires in your car and identify which two are the correct ones. The third one you could trace to see where it goes so at least you know what it is.

According to the wiring diagram, it’s a green white and a brown white. But your car is right at the 2017 change of model year so you would need to know what month your car was manufactured. Previously might have been different colors. I’m assuming your car is not an M model.
