Yep, the beige steering wheel looks out of place because the steering column is black and the wheel is beige. Going to change to a M Performance Steering wheel to complete the M Performance look. I got most of my parts from BMRautowerkes and Pasco-hk.com/ . I saw a 435i in Estoril Blue the other day at work and it looks magnificent, congrats on your new purchase.

Estoril blue is nice but it gets a bit bright in sunlight, so ended up ordering MG, i haven't seen any 4 series on road so far. thanks mate.

Hmm, maybe in the US. The pricing of a e92/93 brand new is around $170,000 AUD or $155,000 USD for a base model M3. I'm speculating the new M3 & M4 would be upwards of $180,000 AUD to $200,000 AUD roughly $180,000 USD.

Logically it would make sense to get a M3 or M4 in the US but in Australia where a F30 328i modded would put you around $90,000 AUD or $80,000 USD.

If the prices of M3/M4 was the same as the US, I would get one in a heartbeat. The high prices are due to various taxes imposed on luxury imported vehicles to protect the local car industry.

True, a 335i M Sport without mods would have been a better choice.

If Australia is anything like HK, which I would assume pricing is similar, here's the breakdown for an 335i vs a 328i.

335i M-Sport, is 800,000HKD, which is 103K USD.
328i, is 520,000HKD, which is 67K USD.

So, I mean, if you're not after the power, per say. The MSport Brakes are Cheap, the MSport Kit is also cheap, lets say you spend $10,000.00 on everything, including thesteering wheel and all, which is over-quoting anyways.

The Trim/Interior Seats and all that jazz doesn't comew ith the MSport anyways.

You're still, coming in a fair amount under the price of a 335i!

Spot on, there's a $20,000 USD Difference between a 328 and 335i. Installing all the M Performance parts will definitely put you over $10,000 as these parts need to be shipped from the HK or US as AUS either don't have it or overcharge for it.

That's understandable. I can only dream of the prices & bargains in the US.

--- Example of AUS Prices for the same car
Porsche 911 Carrera - Same car but overpriced.
US: $ 84,300 USD
AUS: $ 203,209.86 USD

Seems like HK has an even bigger price difference than you do with the 328 or 335, haha.

I'm lucky I managed to get a 335i, Non-MSport for a hell of a price, and now im doing my own conversion, and still coming it WAY under.

I'm factorying about $20,000USD in terms of all mods/wheels and everything for my car, and I'll have a better than "Factory" 335i already brand new, not even M-Sport.

For that price, I could probably get an "M3" conversion when it comes out truthfully.

I noticed you changed the silver part that goes around the shifter stick to carbon that matches the m-performance trim kit. Is that a vinyl wrap or a replacement part? I don't mean the shifter itself but the somewhat square piece at the bottom.

The M Performance CF Gear surround is a one piece replacement part.

Hi
The retrofit of the NBT iDrive & Touch Controller, was plug and play?
Or was it required some kind of adaptation?
Is very complicated installation?
The bluetooth works?

thanks!

The NBT iDrive & Touch Controller was plug & play to a point but did require some adaptation eg. I had to splice some cables to enable sound. Remove incompatible pins & Replace them with CANBUS pins.
Installation isn't simple at first but once you get the hang of it, should be quite easy. Routing cables discretely takes some time & is a little difficult.

Yes. Bluetooth, GPS, Everything works.
