Saying that the F30 interior is better than the E90 interior is like saying Adele is better looking than Rosie O'Donnell.
The F30 interior does look better than the E90. So what? It is suppose to look better because it is quite easy to make an interior that looks better than the one in the E90. However, the F30 interior is STILL ugly. - The colored stripe that runs across the dash is tacky and ricey. - The slope on the right side of the dash looks weird. - The navi looks like they stuck an IPad on the dash - The M-Sport steering wheel looks retro rather than modern The F30 interior leaves A LOT to be desired. The exterior of the F30 is bleh also. The change from E90 LCI to F30 looks more like an LCI rather than a complete overhaul. No chance in hell I'll be buying a F30. If the F32 looks bad then I'm going to Audi, Merc, or Porsche. |

As usual, the more that I see the newer cars, the more the older cars look outdated. The F30 does look better when placed side-by-side.

Both are nice but IMO, the F30 does looks better, a bit more aggressive stance...but How does the xdrive on the F30 335 handle, considering it doesn't have the sport suspension (I'm assuming you did get DHP)?

I started looking on the E92 last year and I liked how the car drives and I hated the interior. kept saying BMW could use some help from VW/Audi with interior design. Told sales guy I will wait till Feb and make a decision between E92 and F30. Feb came and I drove the 328i and 335i and fell in love with the 335 Sport looks and feel. Pictures really do not do the F30 interior any justice. I wonder if the people who do not like the F30 interior are making their judgments based on pics?

I still in a way like the look of the E46 M3 better than the E90 or F30. But definitely the F30 is the better of the newer ones.

With this being said...So far I'm loving the DHP with xDrive. I feel like there is so much grip and power ready to be put down. Going from ECO Pro to comfort t sport have very considerable differences. Thought I'd never go to xDrive but with the roads they way they are here in upstate NY (road & parking lot heaving, pot holes, rough roads - I grounded both my E90's around town with standard sport suspension and trust me I do my best to avoid all obstacles), the snow, and twisted back roads I'll enjoy the ground clearance and ability to drive all year round! For all the N55 haters, I feel like the xDrive and N55 has more to give than my RWD LCI N54!

As usual, people with the older model are defending their purchase, which is fine.
The newer design is much more aggressive, and the way the headlights intersect with the grille is a unique feature that I hope BMW continues to explore. And as usual, people are saying they'd rather have a different brand all together than a BMW with (insert subtle feature here). You can't fix stupidity. |

ok, photo set by photo set:
- photo 1 - front - obviously F30 headlights are different with the 'tear duct' look on sides. in real life i think the scoop is a bit different, bu on these photos the scoop, lower grill, etc, are pretty similar. Also, the blue on black makes the double kidnesy seem similar (though i know they are a bit larger on F30). also, BMW badge is slightly lower due to slightly different end of hood (if you wanna get really picky....but on a quick 'hey, nice looking ride' glance, ain't nobody noticing that) Photo 2- see above. Photo 3 - slightly blunter nose on F30 is visible...if they are side by each and i look closely. otherwise, no difference. Photo 4 - more of the same. Photo 5 - clearly interior differences, but the similarities are more surprising. Seats are the same as is iDrive and stick placement. screen different (though not sure i care for the 'pop up' F30) in fairness, F30 is blurred Photo 6 - back seats - identical seats. Photo 7 - driver's door look - again, differences in dash (which, by the way, nobody outside the car notices....) and seat controls are different. Photo 8 and 9 - ok, these 2 comparisons arent really showing both cars so...not much to say. Photo 10 and 11 - back end views. Tail lights - same. (ok, the white reverse is a *little* higher on F30. other differences seem to casual viewer like they could be the diff between 328 and 335. nothing major there. i guess trunk might look a little flatter on F30 (?)....or that could be lighting. ditto rear fender on F30 might look more flared...but not much. Look, this isnt a radical change. it isnt like going from the W211 Benz to the W212. ...but that is the BMW way. sometimes they make big changes (E46 to E90) and sometimes the changes are very subtle. Its ok that they are subtle. They are both very fine looking cars. in real life, the tear duct lights give away the F30 but it isnt like a whole other car. me pointing out that they look similar doesnt make me blind. |

To me it (F30) looks more like a nicely modded E90. I've seen a lightly modded F30 and that looked awesome! Think the F30 does look better in person, especially in the darker colors so you don't notice that horrible hood line as much Really can't wait to see what the new F80 M3 is going to look like after the tuners and fabricators start making shite. THAT'S going to be one badass ride

F30 looks very nice! The lines are more fluid and very aggressive. I agree interior looks nicer in the e90.

Love the F30...but am still in love with my LCI M Sport, not ready to swap - and....i honestly like the E90 interior better. The nav screen just doesn't sit right in the f30....

Don't get me wrong but after having an 06' E90 and 09' E90 for just over 6 years combined I was done with it. The F30 is just new and different. It's a whole different car. I have yet to find one thing (other than missing out on the new nav software) that I could complain about. A+ all around!
