Planning on a '16 435xi Convert, ED~
But.. not able to build/order it yet as the website doesn't offer 2016's yet- How did you do it and what am I missing. And, yes, I've also read that HK sound system is standard in 2016?! Motch |

HK is standard on the 435 but is optional in the 428. Here's a link to all the changes in the 2016 models. http://www.bmwblog.com/2015/06/18/bm...e-information/ |

Guys I know this might not be the right place to continue with my questions.. For some reason I can't launch new discussion. Please help me to figure questions to my answers.
I plan to order 2016 - 320i with below configurations. - RWD - Automatic - Light Package - Drivers Assistance Package (Only for rear view camera feature) I am skipping everything else since I clearly separated my needs vs wants. Questions I have are, 1. I live i DE .. Any one can tell me if I need to go for xDrive? How much practical usability of xDrive is other than barely 3-4 weeks of snow with shoveled roads? I am ready driving 4Runner RWD for 7 years and had no trouble managing life at all. 2. About transmission choice, shall I go for Auto/Manual? I read the other post but still struggling to decide on this one. 3. Does Adaptive M suspension delivers significant experience difference? In other words, are stock suspension are enough capable to handle the car? Last edited by exedba; 08-30-2015 at 08:16 PM.. Reason: Wanted to add one more question. |

The purist in me says manual all the way. Ultimately it's up to you and what you think about things like everyday drivability, driver engagement, resale value, etc. As for the adaptive suspension, the forums will have both staunch advocates for them as well as those who think the stocks are fine. Best choice is to go for a test drive in a car equipped with one vs. one without and feel the difference for yourself. |

As to the options I assume you still get the M Sport steering wheel with the M Sport Package - I know I love it. Here is a link describing the options I went with on mine, albeit a 2015: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=832606 |

My car is supposed to finish building this Thursday so hopefully in 3 weeks I'll be picking it up. And thanks for the picture. That really does show how stunning the car will look. |
