Thanks, I was shooting with an old Canon 50D with a variety of lenses (Canon 70-200L / Tamron 28-75 / Sigma 30mm)

Beautiful pics of an excellent car on the world's greatest track by far.Congrats.

The OEM stance is ok too. I thought the X Drive was a tad higher(1cm?) than a normal M Sport or Sportline?

Cheers

Agreed - fantastic pics of this stunning car !!!! Thank you for sharing your spectacular photos and for doing some
appropriate editing !!! And it is so obvious that your shots were not taken with an iPhone !

The X drive sits 10mm higher than RWD M Sport. The taller stance is most noticeable in the early scenic shots. The latter ones @ the track show the car appearing to be lower, but with two passengers on board.

Aha I thought so. (Did they mail you back already btw?)

The Karussel bend(last picture) is a real shock/chassis killer. Doing it 'right'(fast and using the concrete plates: to the right in the picture) almost any car is more or less scrubbing the tyres/chassis etc there...

If you don't want that keep to the right on the normal tarmac.(Like the OP did in the picture) But it's a legendary bend for sure.

Cheers
Robin

F30 M Sport pics

Your photos, together with some other notable examples like those of rjc32000's Glacier silver car, have convinced me that the M Sport version is just so much more visually appealing than any of the regular F30 versions.

I now find the front ends of the standard F30 versions to be a bit fussy, with too many trim elements compared to the simpler, more sculptural and aggressive looking M Sport !

Wow! Amazing pictures. That 4th picture is really spectacular. ED looks like so much fun! Congratulations on your new beauty!

re: DerekS comments on M Sport: I originally was a little lukewarm on the F30 M Sport--it just seemed a bit too similar to E90 M Sport. But having seen a M Sport F30 next to the other lines, and having picked up my own M Sport, I've completely come around and agree that the styling of the M Sport really augments the beauty of the F30.

I'm trying to decipher how noticeable this really is, outside of the microscope of this forum.. Lol. Lots of people here are drop happy, so I'm wondering just how noticeable 10mm (aka 1/3 of an inch) in height really is. Easy to compare if a dealership has a sport line and xdrive, modern or luxury with the same size wheels I guess. But I really wonder if this was anything that would stand out to me had I not read so many comments and complaints about ride height on here...

Great shots! What camera lens combo did you take? I want to drag along my 7d but not sure what lenses to rent and bring. Congrats on a super car!
